PSA Discs: Product Spotlight
PSA and Hook and Loop are fastening systems to allow cloth, paper and film abrasive discs to be quickly attached and removed from a backup pad. PSA discs are more common in the USA whilst Hook and Loop is popular in Europe and is becoming more popular in the USA.

Belts and Progressive Die Stamping
Belts are used in multiple applications from fine finishing of stainless steel coil to heavy stock and weld removal. In general heavy weight Y-weight are used for stock removal whilst flexible J-weight is used for fine finishing and contour work.

Mounted Flap Wheels and Heavy Equipment
Flap wheels are an adaptable abrasive product that are made of coated flaps arranged around a hub. They are flexible and allow variation to the shape of the workpiece geometry. Flap wheels are sufficient in a variety of industries such as: metal fabrication, automotive, aerospace, and machinery manufacturing. The adaptability of the product makes them an effective tool for many applications.

Jason Hagenmaier, Head Slitter
Meet Jason Hagenmaier. Jason has advanced in his 14 year career at ARC from helping with the laser and working in flap discs to Head Slitter in the belt department. Most of his experience lies in the belt department with pressing, cutting, packing, and slitting.
