Quick-Change Disc: Product Spotlight

Quick-Change Discs are small discs with a button on the reverse side. The button allows the disc to be changed quickly with one twist, and without the use of special tools. The two popular button styles are known as type R and type S. Reduced operator fatigue and shorter cycle times are some of the advantages the product has to offer. Quick-change discs are available in coated and non-woven abrasive backings.

NON-WOVEN ABRASIVES

Non-woven abrasives are constructed with a nylon fiber substrate base bonded together with synthetic resins and abrasive grains. The abrasions from non-woven abrasives are less aggressive compared to coated abrasives due to their 3-D structure. Continue reading “Non-woven Abrasives”

Flap Discs: Product Spotlight

Flap discs are a 3D product that consists of abrasive flaps glued radially to a backing plate. While the product wears down, new abrasive is exposed.
