MANUFACTURING
Z-WEB products are made in the USA and feature a non-woven, three-dimensional design for high performance applications on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium and exotic alloys.
Years of experience combined with in-house innovation led to the development of products that deliver better opportunities for converters to bring value to end users and remain competitive in the marketplace.
Z-WEB products are completely manufactured in-house, utilizing the most current technology available. Developed using Six Sigma processes with the highest levels of quality control, our Surface Conditioning material can be converted into consistent, reliable products delivering repeatable performance throughout their lifespan.
Manufacturing Z-WEB involves a state-of-the-art process. Synthetic fibers are needled through a flexible web and abrasive grain is randomly bonded to the fibers creating an open structured, three-dimensional material. This unique structure resists loading and maintains a cool working surface, avoiding discoloration and smearing from overheating.
PRODUCTS
Z-WEB delivers worry-free applications, allowing strict control on critical tolerances and avoiding damage to work pieces. New layers of abrasive grain are continuously exposed during use resulting in a consistent, repeatable finish.
Z-WEB Surface Conditioning Materials are available with Scrim, Low Stretch, or Flexible backings, for use with several conversions and applications.
